SIMPLE  PAST

Simple Past Tense is used:
Koha Simple Past perdoret:

1.)  For actions that ended in a specified time in the past.

     Për veprime që mbruan në një kohë të përcaktuar në të shkuarën.

a.      p.sh.: He sold his car two weeks ago. When? - Two weeks ago.

(Ai e shiti makinën e tij para dy javesh) Kur? - Para dy javesh.

2.)  When you want to show a habit or condition of the past.

     Kur duam te tregojme nje zakon apo nje gjendje te se shkuares.

a.      p.sh.: When she was young she lived in a small flat.
(Kur ishte e re ajo jetonte ne nje apartament te vogel)

3.)   For actions that took place one after another in the past.

     Per veprime qe u bene njera pas tjetres ne te shkuaren.

a.      She put on her coat, took her bag and left the house.

(Veshi pallton, mori canten dhe iku nga shtepia)

4.)    To actions that occurred in the past in which there is no known time reference and is not related to the present. (For actions that will not be repeated again)

      Per veprime qe ndodhen ne te shkuaren ne te cilen nuk dihet koha nuk referohet dhe nuk lidhet me te tashmen. (Per veprime qe nuk perseriten me)

a.      I saw Kadri Roshi. (Nuk do ta shoh me, nuk jeton)
